Weird Flatmate

hahahah!! I thoroughly emphathise.. I am also from London and I live with a super control freak as well! She moved in April and seemed real nice... then started asking lots of personal questions and generally coming into my room whenever she felt like it... until I made it clear that this was a no-go.

In the first week of her arrival, she shamelessly knocked on doors and worked her way into the other flats in the building *just because*... She then posted notes to the entire building (all apartments) to demand that rubbish be placed at a certain corner of the street rather than elsewhere. When a tenant on a different floor made a joke about it, she argued till the end- and said that she always had to have the last word about everything.

On several occasions, I had to explain jokes (both mine and others) to her- because she asked, and I obliged by indulging her (so, partly my fault)... She therefore has no sense of humour.

Following this, she proceeded to take charge of all the bills in her name, without offering to provide the rest of us free access to the accounts in question... she sends frequent emails detailing her suggested changes to the way things are run with the greatest urgency.

And she seems to enjoy annoying others with little post-its on their doors.

I once made the mistake of agreeing to look at some of her photos and ended up in a two hour marathon session...

Possibly the only good thing that came out of it was her scrubbing out the entire flat and all the corridors in the building!

Will be moving out soon..
