Seat up or down?
The results of my first web poll here on Weird Flatmate are in. I asked you whether you thought the dunny seat should stay up or down....
And the results are:
Down = 41 percent
Who cares? = 39 percent
Up = 20 percent
Now this could be because more females voted or maybe it's men that just don't care. What do you think? Has leaving the toilet seat up or down caused friction in your household? Let me know!

Where does the law that the seat has to be down come from???
I dont understand why women take it for granted that it should be down.
Why down and not up.
The only reasons I can see when it really should be down is if you have a pet or a child. Or if you haven't bothered to flush but then you have much worse problems than this issue :P

I've been trained to just flip the seat down when I'm done, it's not hard

Here's why the seat should be down:
Women pee with it down
Women poo with it down
Men poo with it down
Men only pee with it up.
That's 3 against 1, therefore... DOWN.

I figure Corinna's method usually. Except in the situation I'm living in now. I'm the single female in a house of three men. Two of them bachelors and immature to boot. The seat stays however they put it. I'm the only one who NEEDS it down, and it's not a big deal to put it down. So long as they haven't pee'd on it. Which is why I don't clean the toilet, by man does.
