Nothing like a good wash!
Cleanliness is next to godliness my Mum used to say and if that's the case, then Craig's flatmate must be a goddess cause she has a serious washing fetish that he needs our help with...
"My housemate seems to have some sort of compulsive washing disorder. She washes her clothes every single day, a few clothes at a time rather than waiting till she has a full load. And she washes everything on the highest possible settings - hot water, deep rinse, megawash, heavy soiling etc. Now, this would be understandable if she worked in a coal mine, but she works in a curry shop. She wears clothes for about 3 hours, and then washes them, and uses a clean towel EVERY time she has a shower.I'm afraid she's going to wear my washing machine out within a year, and I'm sick of hearing the drone of the washing machine constantly when I'm at home. I've tried to hint that maybe she doesn't need to do everything on the highest settings but seriously, how do you ask someone to do less washing?"
Any hints dearest readers? Let Craig know by leaving him a message here!

um using a clean towel everytime she wahes.Whats wrong with you, ffs I use 3 clean towels everytime I shower I would never use a dirty towel like ew.All wet and shit.Just like say hey man can you use the washing machine on the right setting which is variable to the amount of clothes you are washing.Btw curry stinks and good on her.

hmm...slightly weird....perhaps a) she doesn't have many clothes b) the curry shop makes her clothes smell c) she might have bad body odour and doesn't like her clothes stinking out her room. Can't help you about the towel usage...I use one a day, 2nd day I use it on my hair and dry with a fresh one. Suggest you sit her down and talk about the need to save water....hey we're in the middle of a drought! and your washing machine isn't coping with the heavy duty usage. And perhaps she could confine her washing to twice a week. As for the towel usage does it matter if they are her towels? If they are yours too tell her you don't have enough....if all else fails put her rent up....tell her when it was calculated it was to cover washing usage at (say) 4 loads a week and she's exceeding that. BTW I do at LEAST 4 loads a week...one of towels, one sheets, one white clothes, one dark.
